First I want to wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

I've been working over the holidays on Confederacy and made some progress on the stern. I installing the beams for the quarter deck. I have some more to do and then I'll begin installing the knees. I've installed the rudder but have a few more details to complete that part. And I have to install the sweeps and their hinges.

I'm coming getting closer to completing my iteration of Confederacy. However I've come to an impasse. I find that the parts for assembling the chainplates are not part of my kit or perhaps they were in the kit but I've misplaced them. They are on a photo etched brass sheet. I've messaged Model Expo in the hope that they can see me the necessary brass sheet. If not I'll have to put on my thinking cap to see what alternative solution I can come up with.

It's been a while but I've finished my iteration of Confederacy. I've posted some photos of my ship. I've learned a lot during this process and will apply what I've learn as I go forward with additional builds. My quality leaves something to be desired but I glad for this adventure.

at least you finished yours,mine is half built on top of the wardrobe gathering dust !

Andy, thank you for your message. It was complicated but it was fun. And of course there certainly are things I would have done differently. Now I need to find a place to put the ship, some where it won't be collecting too much dust.
I've started plating the hull of my Constitution model. I'll post photos on the build thread.
