Considering battery powered Dremel or other.

I am currently using a Proxxon rotary tool that requires the power unit. I only use the rotary tool and the pen sander. I've stopped using the belt sander attachment. It causes too much damage too quickly. I am getting tired of the power cords and all the tangling. My Dremel is wired and it also is a pain to move around so I only use it with the shaper/router table.
I was thinking of simplifying my set up with a battery powered unit. My use is general to our hobby.

Dremel has a 12-volt battery unit as other companies have their own brands.
So,
Any thoughts or recommendations. Thinner is better but power/torque is boss.
Thanks
