I made the figures with the Titancraft program, see post Link
Thanks for the link, Bertus. I had gotten a Captain from you some time ago and appreciate that, but didn't see this other thread with Titancraft.com. I made an account and see I can create free characters, with charges being made only depending on what add-ons I place.

Can you tell me: If I buy the Pirate Asset Pack, does it come with pre-made characters, or just the parts to create them myself? I realize I can always modify them, but as I'm sure you know, there's a good bit of time to be spent to create a character, and having pre-made ones to start with might be worth it.

Yeah, I see that now. But I now see how easy it is to make figures, and better yet, to pose them. By joining (free), I can make quite a selection of characters, many/most of them free or under a dollar, and get an STL file my son can make figures from. Here are some examples of my playing around:
Here are some examples of free figures I've "designed":

For $2.25 I can get this Captain figure, and of course reuse his greatcoat and boots which is what the $2.25 is for:

I realize this are generic, but then on many ships the crew would be generic. I don't think I will "crew" my 1742 Granado, but as it dates near the point (1748) where official uniforms were issued, I doubt much of the crew would have real uniforms. I could be wrong, though. These figures are nearer to pirates than sailors, but maybe with a bit of careful selection....
