Dear fellow model makers.
While I am nearing the end of making the deck equipment of my Halcon 1:100 build, I came across this detail on the plan, that I cannot work out.
It is about that log thin strip/ rail in the red box.
Can anyone suggest what this might be?

Any hint is highly appreciated!

Probably a bar the connection the Boom Vang onto. It limits the side to side movement of the boom. On some rigging diagrams you can see tackle going from the Aft of the forward boom down to the deck. That bar is what it would attach to.

G'day Jack, as Corsair said above, I believe it was called a horse,
Best regards John,

I love reading and learning new terms for parts of a ship I have seen or even built in some kits, but didn't know the proper name of.

Of course it makes sense the traveler is riding on the horse!
