One of the many questions I had with these tall ships is, 'Where do they put/store the cannon balls to keep them from rolling around and to make them for easy access when needed?' It always puzzled me... now I know.

Heres one I visit regularly, mostly more modern stuff but still great info. He has been doing vids on cannons from the age of sail lately.

Cannon ball racks!! CNC cut from boxwood. Also called "shot racks".

Well, not sure if it came a day early or a day late? Anyway it has arrived!

A tad flimsy but then again it is two card tables hinged together, the cheap kind. I'm not complaining, it'll work for me just fine. If any 'hard' work needs to be done I do have a workbench off to the left but it is overflowing with other projects and tools and equipment... typical.
Please excuse the fuzzy photos. They are made with an old Sony Camcorder of about 20 years or so. Technology back in the 90's wasn't as it is today.
