Or in my case, glazing was only necessary on 3 sides with my HMS Victory cross-section:

And it's far from air-tight, so no holes with steel wool are necessary!

That is amazing ... it gives a better idea of the size of the topsides with respect to the hull than does a complete 3d model. And it takes up very little room on the wall!!

Here is the other thought.
Is it worth putting it in a case?
Assuming it is a nicely built model, why would you not put it in a case to protect your model after you spend so much time and money building it?
