Following a recent discussion on the 'look' of half-barrel guns mounted in blocks, I thought: "Well, why not make dummy half carriages. I made them from three pieces of 3x2 mm stripwood forming a square 'U'. These, I fitted after the first planking layer of Le Superbe. On my next build, I will make & fit them prior to planking, for, hopefully, an easier job.
