At the moment i am going to finish the viglas of La Couronne -Corel and decided to install the dead eyes using a soft blackened brass s wire ( 0.5mm and thinner) and blackened brass chain.I am very happy, because very rapid and uniform (if you are not lazy to count the chain beans) finished result. So ı wanted to share my experience in SoS group with the corresponding attachments.

Hi Paul
Pins n spilit rings which i used are ordered from Amati .
I attached another product which ordered from China via aliexpres also without rings.
I preferred to use the amati product i like the rounded heads.
The china product i will probably use for the canon ports.
Kind Regards from Istabul

i didnt realize how large those are till i noticed the ruler. they are a beautiful detail for larger scales. ive gotta graduate to big scales in my next build. its so tight at 1/8 to the foot, 1:96.

i hope to see some pictures of your finished ship soon?
