I don't understand: what are they basing this on?
It's a bit strange to see that a few months after the launch of the kit from Master Korabel, isn't it?

In researching the early Russian sub by builders name, two different designs have been presented online.

This kit resembles one design that I found a large scale display model has been built for a museum.

I should get copies of kit parts up in next day, and I am working on Google translate on instructions, as no English copy is available.

If you compare the two kits, they are completely different
aac.jpg aad.JPG

left (the one from Kurt): one pair of paddle , no tubes on the deck, at the front a harpoon (or something similar), rings made out of ropes, site appr. 35cm long
and it is following mainly the 1:1 model in exhibition
right (Master Korabel): two pairs of paddle, steel rings and other differences and smaller model with 22,5 cm in scale 1:36

But it is clear, that the models are different: Nobody knows exactly how the original was looking like - there are no contemporary drawings or paintings existing, so every time an interpretation of written descriptions........It is good, that there is in the market different versions existing....

Ok I have my kit photos taken and here is what you get.

In review of the instructions only in Chinese and using Google translator I think a nice kit can be assembled with some trial and effort.

I hope the manufacturer of this kit will produce an English version of instructions. I think that would help with sales of the kit

Maybe one of our fine members who speak Chinese better than google can translate for me!
