I just looked at your SoS build and find it amazing. I'm jealous of your having the time and space to do that. Each piece looks carefully considered and meticulously carried out. There is an SoS displayed in our library at Fort Myers Beach, and I had thought it was a foreign made model because the donor had said it was American. I took issue with that, and seeing yours I'm ready to have another look, and to talk to the donor's widow. If the donor had built it, it would greatly change the regard for him. In any event I wonder for your work how to put together the two concepts of "Herculean" and "Miniature".

Hi Stephen. Sorry for stepping in so late, but I do like your build and build-log. During the build of my Bluenose I read a lot about those beautiful schooners and also about the Elsie. I will follow the rest of your build of your Elsie with great interest.

Beautiful build! I would love to learn mote about your technique for executing the nibbing. I’m not sure I could ever match that precision.
