Hello everyone!

My name is Ethan, and I am five years old. When you're five you can't be a member of Ships of Scale, but my grandpa is a member, so he is letting me use his log-in credentials. Secretly grandpa is hoping this will dilute his following so some of the pressure will be taken off of him to make nice ship models.

I have been asking grandpa for a while now when I can build a ship just like him. Grandpa told me I had to wait until I am five. There are lots of other rules that grandpa has (no one is allowed to touch anything on his worktable - especially me and Damian and Ellie) but the only rule I care about is the five-year-old rule.

Oh, did I mention that I turned five last month!

Goodness gracious Ethan, you built that Pirate ship without a table covering or cutting mat. Absolutely brilliant! much better than Grandpa did when he was 5. Oh, and a very belated Happy Birthday to you. :)

Ethan writes very well for his age! His ship building is great! Plus he already has a tattoo!

AHA! I have redeemed myself, my kit is the Black Pearl with an eyewatering 112 parts...

Still Ethan has still whooped me when it comes to the assembly!!
 
Excuse me while I wipe a tear away. This is every grampa's dream. Your ship is beautiful Ethan! (Just be sure to clean up the sanding dust before Grandma comes home from shopping!) Happy birthday!
 
Your ship is beautiful Ethan! I think you have some of your Grandpa's skills. Can't wait to see the next ship you build!
