Hi,
I am a new member and still learning how this site works. I am a model builder and artist 3D designer. If you are still looking for figures for Billings African Queen I have created some. They are 3D printed scaled to fit the Billings boat. https://i.materialise.com/en/shop/designer/carl-whitten
I have other items like the winch and Anchor too. They come white ready to paint. There are videos on how to paint too. I will be post my models soon.

Hi Karl, I'm also a new member to this forum, just joined yesterday.
And yes I'm currently building the Billings African Queen. I wish I had known about your great looking figures some weeks ago.
I have bought some 1:12 figures from Minimum, and then modified and repainted them, they are OK but not as authentic as yours.
I will now have to consider about buying yours.
And you have me intrigued with how you painted the stripes on Allnut's shirt

Welcome aboard!
Thank you for your comments on my figures for the African queen. There are videos on my YouTube channel That cover my models As well as painting The African queen Figure Mr. Allnutt. I didn't paint the stripes On Mr. Allnutt's shirt. I used a printed fabric and super glued it on. There is a video on "how to" where you purchase the figure and where to get the striped shirt fabric. Good luck with your model!

Hi
Im from Singapore and the African Queen is one of my next builds.
Im very interested in your figurines, in which material they will be printed? In fdm or resin?
Using cheap PLA has the massive disadvantage that after a few years here in SG it will break. No chance to preserve it.
And im concerned that the figurines will be too heavy
What's the weight?

You van also text me direct, thanks

Best,
Lutz

Hello Lutz,
You can find all my African Queen Collection of 3D printable STL files on my Cults3D shop. If you have a 3D printer or know someone who does you can print your own to fit the model. My designs are for your private use only not for commercial use or public sharing. See details on Cults3D. Here's the link: Carl Whitten Artist Cults3D

They were designed to printed on a Resin Printer. I have also printed these STL files in SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) printed plastic that is very light and strong but has a light grain finish with an online print service. SLS printing does not require supports when printing. Online 3D print services can be expensive once you add the shipping costs. I no longer have my designs available online Pre-printed for purchase as pictured in my first post. If you don't have a 3D printer you can get a free quote from an online 3D print service by uploading my STL file and using their quick quote system. I have used this company in the past with great success. Materialise Onsite

My African Queen Collection that matches the Movie now includes:
African Queen People Figures
Steam Boiler
Steam Engine
Green Cabinet
Gin Box
Blasting Gel Box
Life Ring
Mast Lantern
Transom Rings
And PDF of printable Decals for Gin boxes and
A Distressed "African Queen" bow lettering.

My Youtube video shows most of these items in smaller scale but the ones in my online shop are 1:12 scale to match the Billings model. Here's the link.
