Finally finished my first wooden ship model.
I like to praise Occre for their kit, I never ran out of bits .
With the accompanying YouTube videos it is a beginner friendly model.
I will be taking a break now before attempting another one, but thanks to this site & members for some useful tips for starting out in this hobby.

Nice job! I've always thought Endurance was a great subject for a ship model because it's "indestructible." Even if the model gets busted up in some terrible mishap, it will still be an historically accurate representation of the original ship! :D :D :D

Looks magnificent! That's the one I have my eyes on, but want to build up my skills a bit first.
 
I have just purchased this kit and should be starting the build within the next Month, If it turns half as good of your exercise, I will be pleased.
I have been exploring some UTUBE builds to get some idea of what I am in for, Do you have any advice in what direction I should be looking
