Previous years, I started to build the keel and frames, have a look at the Dutch website "Modelbouwforum".
Last month, after a lot of sanding, I permanently (glue) joined the frames to the keel.
After some discussion on how to end the garboard at the bow side, I started to mount the rear garboard plank to the frames and to the keel.
Some glueing, a lot of clamps, holes for the tree nails and the frist number of tree nails.
In this section there are 28 tree nails.
I calculated that I would need some 7500 nails in total.
So still some work to be done.

After mounting the first shelf of the garboard, mounting the remaining five garboard shelfs is relatively easy.
Just copy the previous used work procedure, heating, bending, glueing, clamping, cleaning, applying tree nails and go to the next shelf.

From this garboard to the lower wale, there have to be placed 10 bottom planks, according to the drawing.
Until now, the frames were connected by two rows of temporary supporting planks
The lower plank has been replaced by a temporary lower wale.
For now, this lower wale has the same thickness as the normal planking.
After sanding these 10 bottom planks, the temporary wales will be replaced by final wales with the correct thickness of 4 mm.
With the lower wale mounted, the distance between the garboard and wale has been dived in 10 sections, 5.5 mm wide at the bow, 10.1 mm in the middle and 10 mm at the stern.
