HMS Terror
Heya, my name is Sydney. I am 33 and am obsessed with the Franklin Expedition in 1845. The ships Erebus and Terror are the two ships I plan to make. I began the build of Terror in March 2025. I then lost my job, so I have more time than ever to binge audiobooks and build as much as I can hahah
I'm at the point where I begin the rigging, and I'm so excited.
Here are some photos of the process til now. I even sliced the padded part of my thumb while building, and now have a lovely scar to remember building the Terror.

cutting your thumb is the first step toward cannibalism (kind of like a gateway drug). Don't get too caught up in your obsession with the Franklin expedition.
