After two year and just over 800 manhours, I have completed my version of a Flower Class
Corvette, HMCS Snowberry. It consisted of a Matchbox PK-901 kit scale 1-72.

When I got it, the box was in bad shape, damaged by water, most of the kit itself was ok but
as you can expect a few pieces were damaged, twisted or simply missing. Decals well
forget those. Nonetheless, I managed to build it using some GLS parts and by manually making replacement parts as I went.

It is far from being perfect, but I think she look pretty good. I have received many questions
with regard to the Flower Class Corvette while I was building it. I guess that was the whole
idea behind making it, so that they are not forgotten. Thank you to the many people that
have provided me with advise on the project

Beautiful ship. If you have not read it I suggest you get a copy of "The Cruel Sea" by Nicholas Monsarrat. In my estimation one of the best fiction novel about WWII. About a crew in a Flower class ship. There was also a British film with the same title that was well done.
