Hi All
For the moment I am finishing the sails rigging of my Schooner Flying Fish. My question is ,is it correct how I attached the block combination at the fore staysail..Should it hang free in the middle of the inner jib yard .In other words are the rope connections on both sides are sufficient to hold the block combination and trimming of the or is it necessary to add the metallic connection in the middle .Detailed picture is in the attachment.
Thanks in advance for your answers:)

Looks to me that you have a practical solution - I can't comment on historical authenticity!
Hi Jimmystaratos
You are right. It looks nice but ofcourse not authentic. The corrected version is in the attachment.I also think that the previous nice looking version gave limited flexibility to the foresail while sailing. It would be to rigid and stiff. Thanks for your attention.Next week I hope to finish the Flying Fish completely and post it to SoS-Gallery.

My next model Dolphyn from Corel 1:50 is on my pipeline.I allready finished the hull at the moment(attachment)

Kind regards and very best wishes
