Five-masted barque France. Scratchbuilt - 25 feet to 1 inch. Twin-screw, auxiliary five-masted barque, completed in 1911. The engines were later removed, leaving her the biggest pure sailing ship ever to sail the seas. Masts, spars and rigging 100% metal. Hull - wood, plated with writing paper. I get great satisfaction building these models from bits and pieces.
