Gluing and Clamping deck planks

I am interested in seeing how you clamp your deck planking down. I find my efforts to be okay-ish but think there is room for improvement, so I would like to get your input. Now I am specifically referring to planking on top of a flat deck piece because I think planking over frames or bulkheads would be done similarly to hull planking, but if you have something you feel would be relevant to add to the conversation, I am all ears.

I use shot bags to weight down planks in awkward areas. The ones for draftsmen are a little light, but heavier ones are available for dive weights:
