Having started to really scratch build my first ship, I was glad to find this forum. I started out with a Caldercraft ship (Milford Star) en then tried my hand at D805, a WW2 destroyer. That was still based on parts of a Deans Marine ship. But I liked the designing and tinkering in 3D, so started with a Round Table Trawler, Sir Gareth. "A steep learning curve" is an understatement.

Nobody told me I'd be so busy after retirement ...

also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our forum

Welcome aboard

About 20 years ago I also did destroyer D 805 - HNLMS Piet Hein
