Maybe this is the best treatment of sails I have seen. Quite often the sails actually detract from the model. Excellent work

My father served on the Eagle when it was the Horst Wessel for a few months when he joined the German Navy in. In later years he met the captain of the now USS Eagle. Given this family history, I've always wanted to build a model of the Eagle. Knowing that the Horst Wessel was the sister ship of the Goch Foch, I've begun the search for a really good kit. Occre and Mantua seem to be the only kits offered in the market today. Did you find your Occre kit had good plans and materials? Would you recommend the kit to others?
