Thanks for the welcome. I am diving into the hobby head first with Occre’s HMS Victory. While new to shipbuilding, I have been designing and building RC planes personally and military drones professionally. I am retired now, and lost my wife to cancer this past June, so I needed something to occupy the mind and hands. I look forward to learning and discussing with everyone as I progress. I got my meager workspace set up last night using a 6’ Woodworking bench with drawers from Harbor Freight. This will have to do until my house sells and I get the new house built. I planned a dedicated heated and cooled workshop for my hobbies in the new house. That’s a great-looking model! The level of detail on the hull is impressive.
