I have recently ventured into the world of model ship building, and after my first ship, I am hooked. My First ship was a 1/350 HMCS Huron, which sadly got knocked over at about 85% complete. The damage to the PE was extensive enough that I walked away from that build. I also worked on a Revell 1/700 Bismarck, which was a bit of a practice platform for an el cheapo PE upgrade kit. As it was my 1st attempt, half the PE looks terrible. currently I have 2 kits that I am going back and forth between. One is a 1/700 HMS Hood, and The other is a 1/700 Bismarck. Both have the deluxe detail kits included. I also have a couple aircraft carriers I am excited to build. One of them- the USS Kitty Hawk, has the most ridculous PE upgrade set I've ever seen... there are 15 sheets! I would like to do an unboxing thread on that kit, if I can find the appropriate place to do so. I don't want to start a build log on it, as I wont be starting it until these 2 ships are complete.
