Just joined and thought I would introduce myself. Started a Billing Boats Mayflower for my first wooden ship build (yeah, right?). Of course it is a struggle - took a year off to do a move and get resettled, but am back at it. Been modelling for decades, off and on. Most recently painting wargame strategy figs for Games Workshop and Flames of War, but always wanted to do a wooden ship. Hopefully lots of experience to draw on here.
