I’m half way through Pegasus build, i coppered the hull and did a lousy job . I’m tempted to pull it off. Any suggestions?

if you are considering pulling it off, have you thought about how you are going to make it better?
Without seeing what it looks like, it's not easy to provide suggestions for improvement.
Did you draw lines on the hull to guide your installation? This will help keep your rows nice and straight.
Make sure you keep your overlaps even.
I'm just making guesses though.

As you can see the water is over the dam. I’m also trying to figure out how to attach 4 or 4 mm blocks to yards or masts.I’m an octogenarian and am out of practice.

After thinking how to remiss my lousy coppering job I think I’ll paint over it with a bottom looking paint. Do you guys think the copper will sand to smooth it out a little?

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your question about sanding the copper. Did you resolve this, or do you still wish to get recommendations?
