Hello and need help and advice

I am David originally from Connecticut USA and living in the UK last 38 years. Just retired. I am nearing completion of tiger Amati Endeavour with poly hull. Looks great. I really To to it quite easily. I have collected some good basic told. It is a gift for my daughter. Just finishing the sails and rigging (basic rigging) more.

HELP…. My next job is HMS Endurance as a request from my son. I am happy to take on the challenge (that being the thing of the rigging!!!).

Anyways I am hoping someone has some good instructions for the Wndurance and can recommend a make. I think I am considering the Occre version……any thoughts???

Hi David. Welcome to the forums !
The Occre kit would probably be a decent match for you, but before that, I would recommend a few other kits to learn from. Such as the Occre Albatross.

Welcome aboard. The Endurance is my next build, the one from Occre. Did the Occre Buccaneer as my first build and will soon finish the Santisima Trinidad cross-section by Occre. All I have left to do is rigging and sails, plus some figures to paint, and make a case.

I believe the OcCre kit for Endurance is the only game in town, but there are blueprints of Endurance/Polaris 1912 available that may help with some details if you want to get into more detail. One example is below.

Thanks for the warm intros! Any familiar with the Mamoli Endeavour? It looks far simpler but also looks a bit cruder in design…. Amy thoughts?
