Hi folks: I am currently building the OCCRE Candelaria ship. I am looking ahead to mounting the Bow sprit figurehead. The one supplied is not very impressive. The crest is not very detailed for painting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks from Canada.

Welcome to the forums !
If you don't want to paint it, an option would be to create a decal of it. You can get clear decal paper that you can put through an inkjet printer. The hard part there is getting a clear image that you can use and scaling it to the correct size to print on the decal.
Another option would be get an after-market figurehead to use.
