Hello from Belgium!

Patrick, If you ever want to know the true story about the life of
Captain Bligh, you should read the book, The Life of Vice Admiral
William Bligh R.N.,F.R.C. by George Mackaness.
I have read dozen or two books on Bligh and this book by George
Mackaness tells it all, as he well researched the Bountys Log , Bligh s
personal Log and James Morrison s Journal ,concerning their
times during the Bounty episode and presents a most true story
of what actually happened
To build the model of the Bounty is one thing , reading about
the historic Mutiny of the Bounty is another, both most rewarding
projects.,then a again there is Nelson and the Victory . I have read
many books about Viscount Lord Nelson , but have never
attempted to build a model of the Victory and now at ninety three
building the Victory is out of the picture for me.

Patrick I wrote a further reply but I fear I missed posting it.
I mentioned in the reply that it is enjoyable building a model,
however reading about the History of a ship can at times be
just as rewardin and enjoyable.
Of all the books .I have read on the Mutiny of the Bounty and
Capt.Bligh the best thus far is a book by George Mackaness,
entitle The Life of Vice Admiral William Bligh R.N.,F.R.C.
I am sure building the Bounty will give you much enjoyment
as will reading all you can about the Historic Mutiny of the
Bounty.
I have read countless books on Viscount Lord Nelson but
never attempted to build the Victory and at my present age
of 93 I fear tme is not in my favor.
