Hello from the mountains of Colorado! I have been a ship modeler lurking in this group for many years and decided to officially join. I have completed a couple of models that look ok from a distance, but closer inspection shows that my skills are very rough. I hope to eventually improve my skills and actually contribute to this group.

I'm in Loveland.

As said above, there is a group in Denver (Rocky Mt Shipwrights) if you can come down from the mountains. I've been to a few meetings over the years.

The Rocky Mountain Shipwrights is a great group. I have maintained my membership even though I have moved to FL back in 2023.
They meet at Rockler's in Denver and they have a meeting this Saturday on 9:30 AM. Hope you can make it. :)

Welcome from the dock, shipyard and dry land of Ft Collins where the Model Shipways Bluenose still sits in its dry dock waiting for the masts to be constructed. Permission to board is granted! lol

I too am in the mountains of Colorado, outside the Springs. I am getting back into modeling. 40 years ago I completed the Cutty Sark. Took me 5 years bit it was true to the contract to build her. I had a book with plans, the original contract to build and detailed drawings. Can't find the book now.

I found a set of lines awhile back ( no name) and started a plank on frame build. Still working on the hull, waiting for the fun part "The Rigging".

They are having a model show Oct 16 through Oct 18. Here is a link to the post about it. I recommend you should consider going. :) They are a great bunch.
