Hello to all.
This site is a real treasure of information. I have been into plastic scale modelling for over 40 years, but I just started with my first small wooden ship. And I'm very lost about a lot of things, but this site has a good amount of answers.

First, WELCOME TO SoS

We are all lost at times, but thanks to the centuries of collective experience here at SoS, you need only ask for help when you hit a roadblock and will usually get a solution or at least a source to go to for the answer.

What model are you working on for your first build?

It's a small Chinese kit from a sailing boat, I identified it in this forum as an 1847 Harvey, in 1:130. The manual gives very little clues.
I wanted to get some experience in wood before getting into larger and more expensive kit like the ones from Artesanía Latina.
Next is my first planking adventure...
