Seaways' Ships in Scale had a 5-part series of articles about Bluenose II from Jul/Aug 2003 through Mar/Apr 2004. I don't have the original magazines, but I think you can still get the articles from Ships in Scale.

I just found that there are a number of references about Bluenose, on navyboardmodels.com. I'm not sure how much info there is, but at least there seem to be numerous photos that may be helpful to you.
