Hi, my name is Mark, I'm currently building a 1/72 CA class WW2 destroyer which has been a work underway for a few years now, longer than I first thought it would take.
Thank you for accepting me to this forum, I have already found some useful information which I hope will provide me with some 'enthuse' to finish off this model.

Greetings from the Finger Lakes of New York! Please feel free to share some photos of your destroyer.

Hi Mark. A warm welcome aboard.
Starting a build log showing where you are now and sharing your progress might be the ideal way to provide you with some enthuse. Looking forward to some photos.

Thank you for the suggestion,Herman.
As soon as I have tidied up my now 'modelling room' (was an aquarium room) I shall start a build log.
To be honest this may be the only ship I build,as it is supposed to be a tribute to Dad,who served in the Royal Navy 1944-45.
I guess I should also mention this will be a radio controlled model.

Hi Mark, welcome to the SOS Group. Would love to see some photos of your work and follow along with your progress. There are a few of us on the site that build scale RC ships and boats.
Jim

Thank you for the welcome, it's good to see I won't be alone with the RC side of things!
