Hi, My name is Tom, I live just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I just found this forum while looking for instructions for the Chinese version of the Harvey. This is my third build. My first was a Muscongus Bay Lobster Smack that got me hooked. My second was the Princess Royal ship in a bottle, took many broken masts, tangled rigging and rebuilds before I finished it. I like to call it "shipwreck in a bottle", but actually it came out pretty good. It taught me all about using lighted magnifiers! This is my first planking attempt and the instructions are pretty minimal. I'll figure it out eventually, when I was young my dad told me "you don't have to be good, just persistent. When I finish this one, my next project will be another ship in a bottle from scratch. I wish I would have gotten this hobby sooner.
