Help. I'm re-rigging an old Billings Cutty Sark. I can't work out where the foremast Royal braces lead. I have the Billings plans. The rather small scale rigging plan shows them going to blocks just above the third yard down on the main mast (not sure what that one is called) but the larger scale individual mast plan of the main mast suggests they go to blocks between the topmost yard and the one below. Any ideas - please !

How kind. Looks like it's the lower of my two options with the t'gallant braces leading to the same place

Have found the following description in volume 2 of Longridge - 'The royal braces are single, shackled to the yard arm band, and then reeved through the same double block at the main topmast cross trees that the topgallant braces use. The lines run down the mast and belay to the main rail.' I think I will regard that as definitive.
