Hi BJ,
Hi B-J. I gave your post a ‘like’. Not because of the story, but for the fact that you made a account on this SoS. In the hope that someone is willing to help you.My husband recently passed away and didn’t finish the Viking ship model he was working on. As a tribute and legacy, would like to hire someone to finish it and give to my daughter. Any one for hire to finish it?
Attached some pictures.
Thanks for your help.

ahh, thank you so much --Sorry for your loss, and I wish you success finding a capable builder to complete the project. I would gladly take it on for expenses only, but I’m on the wrong side of the ocean to offer more than moral support.
thanks so much, will checkHello B-J, my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband.
Allan @AllanKP69 in a few posts back mentioned the expense of shipping a completed model and I agree with him, it will probably be very expensive. There is another option but it might mean a little research locally. There are many model ship clubs in the US with a keen following of members that may be able to help you. I am not familiar with your location but the attached list of Model Ship Clubs in the US may help you find someone within driving distance who can help construct the Viking ship.

Great idea!!! Thanks !!I’m sorry for your loss. To keep this within a reasonable cost, I would suggest that you have whomever you select, finish the boat in two parts; the hull, and the mast and sail. This will save on shipping and minimize the chance for damage. Either you or your daughter can step the mast with its sail and secure the few lines to stabilize it. Nota big or difficult job.

I'd love to help because I've built this boat. Unfortunately I'm 4000 miles away across the Atlantic!figured it out - thanks
also, I realize the expense but appreciate your insight
