Her husband, Kroum, is a well known member of the Maritime Archaeology Community being a professor at the University of Connecticut. His doctorate thesis while at Texas A&M is quite informative. It is available on-line as a pdf. The Framing of Seventeenth-Century Men-of-War in England and Other Northern European Countries

I watch all his videos too. You got to love a guy who spent years cataloging the Wasa

It's a very good series. Saturdays at 10am EST she is building the Muscongus Lobster Smack by Midwest and Sunday, same time, is finishing the Sakonnet Daysailer also by Midwest
As always, lots of good tips from Olha.
The streams last about two hours each day.
Past streams are always available on YouTube

I found the her YouTube channel. Here is the link to the her group build of the Midwest Kit Muscongus Lobster Smack which she is just starting. I built this model a year ago or more so I will find it most interesting to learn how I could have improved that build.

Her abilities will humble most

I agree with all the above comments. Olha is amazing. For someone beginning to find their way into wooden shipbuilding she demonstrates what is possible with a few basic tools, patience and a measure of humour.

Dear Members
In addition to the aforementioned "The Arming and Fitting of English Ship of War 1600-1815" by Bryan Lavery,
I have the book "The Construction and Fitting of the English Man of War 1650-1850" by Peter Goodwin,
The PDF is too big to be posted but i can send it via Wetransfer

I took a quick look and the WeTransfer appears the app is free to individuals.
Is this correct?

Are you saying you have the entire book as a PDF?
Thanks
Allan

I
yes! I'll send it to you via Wetransfer " illico et immediate"
Do you also want Arming & Fitting ... complete PDF?
I was not sure if your response was to Ted or me so I sent you a private message not to send them to me as those books are copyrighted.

Allan
