hello iam building this model and need help with finding which frames go where on the small ships. i dont have english instructions and i am just winging it on the japanese version. can anyone help me out. thanks, terry

Do you have a smart phone? If so, download the Google Translate App. Run the app, set the language to either "detect language" or "Japanese", click on the "camera" icon, and point the phone's camera at the Japanese text. On the phone's LCD screen, you will actually see English words displayed over the top of the Japanese text. You can read it in real time or press the round button icon and freeze the image. From there you can send it as text or copy it manually to paper. If you do this for all the pages, which will take time, you will effectively translate the entire instruction manual. I was able to translate Lusci's book on building La Couronne from Italian to English one paragraph at a time as I did running rigging on the ship model. After a while, you learn a few words in Italian and it gets easier to read the original text.

hello, i am building the zhl model 1/90 scale terry
It's actually about 1:74 or 1:77 scale. I built this model. You can click on the model's name in my signature block below to see my build and see some other builds discussed. The characters in the instructions are actually Chinese as opposed to Japanese. If you have specific questions, you can ask me, @Gilbertm, or @paulb. There are some other good ones out there, too. If you click on the envelope on the top bar, you can PM any of us. I think @Mr.Deep is another good source. But sometimes the Russian doesn't translate to English well.
