Hello,
This is my first contact with Ships of Scale. I learned modeling when I worked for a few years with the Model Shipwrights team at the US Naval Academy Museum in Annapolis. I am now in Monterey, California, close to the Naval Postgraduate School.
Someone just gave me a model of the Gloucester schooner Gertrude L. Thebaud, which I learn was famous in the 1930s for its races against the Bluenose. My model is in very bad condition. I will try to restore it, and it would be a big help if I could obtain a rigging plan for it. Can anyone help ?

Very cool! I would suggest starting with some of Howard I. Chapelle's books, especially The American Fishing Schooners and or The Search for Speed Under Sail (at least I think he discusses the fishing schooners in the latter). I'm not sure if he has plans included of the Thebaud, but he certainly will of similar vessels.

Way back in the 1950’s the model ship company A.J Fisher sold a kit for the Thebaud. They’re still in business but under different ownership. They might still have drawings. Like everything else, you can find them on the internet.
