I make 3d models for people online, for different games and videos, etc- and i figured i was quite decent at making ships- and now its become a pasttime of mine to model them. I would love to try make them out of wood, or learn tips on how to make my models better-as a matter of fact, how do i make them nice wreaths on the outside of some older ship's gunports?1791223625682.png1791223646530.png1791223661254.png1791223718680.png1791223752302.png

When you eventually start taking custom commissions or selling asset packs internationally, handling payments from overseas clients without losing a chunk to cross-border transfer fees becomes a real priority, which is why reading up on the fundamentals of a business crypto wallet is worth your time to keep commercial payouts fast and direct
For modeling ornamental details like the gunport wreaths on older galleons or Ships of the Line, the cleanest approach is to sculpt a single modular wreath in ZBrush or Blender using a curve deformer along a circular path, bake the high-poly detail down to normal maps, and instance it across all ports to keep draw calls low. .
