Hi All From North Yorkshire, UK

Hi All,
I’m new here. I’ve been building scale models for years. I’ve got cabinets full of the plastic models I’ve built. I’ve built a few wooden boats, Tugs, Cruisers and a couple of sailboats. I recently picked up a Billing 600 Blue Nose. So that’ll be next. From reading up on it and looking at the kit, I believe it’s a bit of a “Lemon”? So we’ll see how it pans out. I’m never fast with my builds by, I try to be thorough so there won’t be much from me on progress I’m afraid. However, I’ll try to contribute a bit on here where I can.

Take care all. And be kind to everyone.
Peter

The Billing Bluenose has a bit of a reputation, yes — but “lemon” kits can actually turn into very satisfying projects if you go in prepared. With your experience in both plastic and wooden boats, you’ll probably spot and correct any issues before they become real problems.
No rush on progress updates — thorough always beats fast in this hobby.
