Welcome aboard from Connecticut. As a first time builder, you may want to put your current project on hold and consider gaining skill on some simpler projects like a dory or Norwegian sailing pram. You can gain a lot of valuable insight and avoid frustration that a bigger craft entails. There are many valuable parts of the fourms to peruse as a first time builder and also build logs that are so helpful!
