Hi everyone ,thank you for allowing me to join these forums, especially as i could use some advice as to my next steps.

Currently have finished a 1:200 hatchette Bismark ( the magazine type) , a couple of plastic models (revell uboat/HMS titanic)

I have started with a small wooden HMS Bounty. Still busy with.

Then , whilst looking around I found a damaged wooden ship, that I thought could be a nice resto job, bear in mind this was @around 70$ I thought it was going to be around 40-50cm.

Next thing I'm making my way home with this beastie, I rekon its around 150cm top to tail.

Enclosed are some photos and I am hoping for some advice on beginning steps

I am a novice so please bear that In mind when understanding my terminology

The bowsprite? Has broken off, this in turn has allowed the 1st mast to become loose, not quite detached.the bow wood has also splintered...

I was thinking first glue the bow splintering back in place

Then slowly add tension to the bow staff allowing the lines to stretch and the mast to stand upright, to be glued. I was then hoping to drill into the bowstaff remnants and the bowstaff itself and insert a metal shaft in order to straighten it

If anyone has any ideas and also what model tupe/make it is?

Anyhow, nice to meet everybody and thanks
