This large model is being built in three sections. The purpose is to show hull construction accurately. It is un-rigged, with stub masts. Sections of the internal and external planking are omitted, and the cross-sections allow internal viewing. Portions are left unfinished, suggesting as during the Admiralty refit conversion from collier to expedition voyager.

I began using Harold Underhill's plans and later discovered KH Marquardt's book HMB Endeavour Anatomy of the Ship, and used the drawings there enlarged 325%.

The mid-section was finished in early 2025 and is in the collection of the British Columbia Maritime Museum in Victoria (but not publicly viewable until the museum acquires a larger space).

The stern section is framed and ready for the ceiling and internal beam work.

The bow section is just beginning, with the keel and stem set up and three partial frames in place.

Woods are walnut and cherry.
