HMS Beagle 1:60 scale Occre by embojo

One side planked up to the wale. I also added waterways. I cut 2mm wide strips from a 2mm thick sheet of walnut, then sanded to a flattened triangular cross-section. Nearly ready to drill holes for scuppers.

unfortunately the waterways cover the margin planks:(. I'm planning for 5 scuppers on each side now, between the gun ports. I'm worried about drilling all the way from the waterways right through to the hull. It would be all too easy to end up with holes at different heights above the wales, which wouldnt look good. I'm thinking to mark the locations on the waterways on the inside, and just above the wales on the outside then drill pilot holes from both sides, trying to link them.
