Hi all....I have the Occre kit HMS Beagle, does anybody know if the actual ship had grating on the prow/bow, it just doesn't look right without (how do the crew get to the bowsprit etc)...has anyone got photos of a decent plan please

I can look at the anatomy of the ship book for the BEAGLE and see but I dont think it does

Correct, some books are very expensive. Consider buying second-hand (used) or some discounted. Even Amazon sells used books.

Hi all, yes Jim that's true but at what a price. I ordered it from a bookstore in Switzerland, but they can't deliver either and there is no new edition. After 3 months of email correspondence with the bookstore, I have now canceled it and hope to get it cheaper at some point

Ciao a tutti, si Jim è vero ma a che prezzo. L'ho ordinato da una libreria in Svizzera, ma non possono nemmeno consegnare e non c'è una nuova edizione. Dopo 3 mesi di corrispondenza e-mail con la libreria, ora l'ho cancellato e spero di averlo a un prezzo più basso a un certo punto

Yes Tobi, I completely agree that some of the books are overpriced due to limits and their demand. For example, I bought the AOTS book of Naval Cuter Alert for $35.00 a few years back. Today, you cannot find it for less than $100.00 (US), I have also seen it at a ridiculously high price of $500.00 (wonder if there is a potential buyer...exists ).

Siamo anche molto attenti quando pubblichiamo piani\libri e altre risorse, evitando ad ogni costo di pubblicare materiale protetto da copyright senza il permesso del proprietario\editore. Ad esempio, tutti i libri della serie Anatomy Of The Ship (AOTS) non sono mai stati pubblicati ufficialmente in formato .pdf, quindi non sono nemmeno sicuro che ci siano e-book della serie AOTS. Tuttavia, se la risorsa è disponibile presso l'editore e può essere utilizzata gratuitamente, puoi pubblicarla dove appropriato. e non dimenticare di accreditare la risorsa. We don't necessarily have a specific place for books\plans exchange. We are also very careful when posting plans\books and other resources, avoiding at any cost publishing copyrighted material without permission from owner\publisher. For example, all of the Anatomy Of The Ship (AOTS) series books were never officially published in .pdf format, hence, any e-books of the AOTS series in such exists.

However, if the resource is available from the publisher and free to use, you can post it where appropriate. and don't forget to credit the resource. We often time post images\excerpts from various books\plans for educational purposes only. Any copyrighted materials posted by our members will be deleted without additional warnings. If in doubt, you can always contact the administration and clarify before posting.
