I used to build model aircraft and make miniature theatres inside matchboxes, but that was nearly 70 years ago! So now in my old age I have joined Ships of Scale and for Christmas started my first serious model boat - the Billings Bounty. What fun and enjoyment it is already giving I’ve invented a mini steamer using my wallpaper stripper connected to a upvc pipe; haven’t tried it yet but optimistic that it will work Looking forward to sharing and learning (anyone know what the copper wire is for in the Billings kit? I can’t find any explanation) Cheers, Turiya
