I found another kit under the Christmas tree. I'm going to try to level up more than I did with the HMS Beagle kit. It is a challenge for me and I already know that I will make some parts myself and replace them. I have read several threads on this server and on the damned and criticized MSW. Upon opening, there were already several visible errors in the poorly printed manual. After the Beagle experience, I did an inventory of the material and found a few inaccuracies, but it's nothing catastrophic.

Hi ,
I am also building the Endeavour by Eaglemoss. You can follow on YOU TUBE the build of the Endeavour by three persons weekly video. I am following the build of the Eaglemoss Endeavour.
Hope this helps, Joe

Simultaneously with the construction of the physical model, I also build a virtual model based on the scanned parts. I take it as practice in my cad. I found errors on parts 14 (lower deck) which I will show later. It appears that there was a problem with the laser engraving of the part directly at the kit manufacturer. Fortunately, it was enough to use sandpaper...

To attach the central parts, I used 3D printed tools from the previous construction, I strengthened the frames with the help of the rest of the balsa.

Here is an example of a faulty laser cut deck.

Fortunately, the sandpaper was enough and the remaining mistakes will cover the planks on the deck and in the end it will all be hidden in the hold anyway... :)
