Hey shipmates, :D Explosion

I'm back from my wonderful holiday in Singapore! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year 2026. May this year be a year of love, friendship and good health for us all!

I am looking forward to making further progress on my little dwarf here and, of course, this year I will continue with the Athena and keep up the construction report and share my progress with you.

So stay tuned and excited!

Best regards,

Günther ...

What's up, my shipmates? :D

I hope you all had a wonderful start to the new year 2026. I'm looking forward to my two building projects.

I've also been working on my HMS Enterprize again. It's really amazing how well this little kit is built and how beautiful the mini parts are to look at.

I decided to add some detail to the rooms on the decks. I cut out a door and a few windows, which looked really great, to make it look even more lively below deck. I also decided to leave a few gratings open or half-open. To do this, I had to cut out the frames and gratings and glue them in place. I had trouble cutting the frames out properly because they are so thin. Unfortunately, I broke two of them. But I was able to glue them back together again. Here are a few more pictures, and of course my builder was there again!

Great progress on those Small parts, Günther. And nice pictures which make the model almost look like a 1:72 scale.
Regards, Peter
