I recieved me HMS GRANADO (sections 1 and 2) from Tom yesterday. China to Canada UPS, 3 days once shipped. Extremely well packaged/protected. Nothing was loose, crushed or broken within the boxes. Quality of the wood is excellent. The finger planes are excellent and of sturdy construction. Though I have a Sherline mill I want to try out the scraper that is offered on the CAF site and I will print backups of plans/dwgs;
In my email(s) to Tom; notwithstanding time zone differences he was always prompt in responding regarding some of my questions of the GRANADO Kit before I decided to purchase. Researching on this forum was also a factor in deciding to go with this kit;
Tom also stated the ENTERPRIZE is currently in production and that SECTION 3 of GRANADO should commence production in Sept; and
I will repackage and place GRANADO on her alloted shelf and when Section 3 is avail for order I will purchase. In the meantime continuing to layout sequences for me Rattler and Indef when I am not completing tasks from the Admiral's Honey Dew List.
Have a Great NAvy Day!
