HMS HOOD first build

not started yet and have my first problem ,I purchased a plan from an online store and it seems the rib sections are a different scale
to the hull profile, which means the hull plan across the beam is also wrong. looks like some redrawing will be necessary .

yes a scratch build 1:151 hull length is 1740 . will be an RC model .hull will be fibre glass

just started making the plug after many hours correcting the mistakes in the plan ,not really a plan with so many mistake just a drawing

Bit more done to the plug ,both halves roughed out just have to join them together for the final shaping ,they
will then be ready for the glass.

sorry very difficult to see much on that plan, I would be surprised if anything matches the plan I am
using as there are so many mistakes in it.

There are several contemporary drawings of the HMS Hood still existing - they can be ordered from the NMM in original size

Tony, the site reduced the size & resolution making it harder to read. the original on my pc is 4800x1046 pixels at 1.03mb but the site reduced it to 1406x306 at 84kb. is the plug going to stay as 1 piece or 2 pieces along the keel? pm your email so i can send you what i have in plans.
